Hi! My name is Francesca, I'm a London based illustrator and character designer from Turin (Italy).
I like spots, pen drawings rushed on the notepad, rough paper, black
ink, crayons.
I draw my inspiration from situations, from my friends, from images
captured on the street, from the idea of creating something new.
If you like my work see more on my Behance page!

A sketch from a new child book project i’m working on!
This one is sketched directly in Illustrator.
Sometimes I work in this way cause help me work fast and visualize all the ideas and the poses in a moment.
Hope you like it!

A new series of drawings i’m doing for a children’s book project.
Sometimes it’s just impossible avoid bad situations. Sometimes the only solution is remain at home under the blankets…

Sketch of the day!
Another layout study from a short storyboard i did some days ago.
Try to give the right atmosphere using lights and shadows..
Doing some sketch of the buildings i find here in Kennington, the neighborhood where I live now, in London.
The english light is really interesting. Creates in every moments different shadows.
The first sketches are ink and watercolors and the final layout is colored digitally.
